A Gas Service Worker (GSW) in Singapore is a professional licensed by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) under the Gas Act to perform, supervise, and endorse gas pipe installation and related works. Only a GSW or a person under a GSW's direct supervision may legally carry out gas installation works in Singapore. A plumber's licence (PUB Licensed Plumber) or electrical licence (LEW) does not authorise gas pipe works. These are entirely separate licences regulated by EMA under the Gas Act.
